Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German television and film actress popular for her work in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Born as the only children of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered the world of show business early, and ended up performing lead roles in various TV dramas before she turned 16. Her critically acclaimed performance in the film for television that she made Der Tunnel paved way for some other memorable roles such as the role of Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge in the commercially and critically popular Oscar nominated war-time drama film Downfall. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning diva. Through the years, Alexandra was involved in numerous important international and national productions. They include the British biographical films Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and French historic mini-series Napoleon in addition to other projects. Also, she was on juries for the Transylvania International Film Festival, and was also a juror at Cannes Film Festival.
