Michael Keaton (born Michael Keaton) is an American actor, who has also worked as a director, producer as well as a producer. Keaton is best known for the film "Birdman. A versatile actor, he is able to perform both dramatic and comedic characters. He also has played several romantic characters and played in numerous action films in his career. When he was in his teens, he developed an interest in acting and performing. He began to try stand-up comedic performances when he was a teenager. His comedy career did not go well, but it helped pave the way to his acting career. Because he could not to succeed as acting, he decided to be a TV cameraman. He realized his real passion was in front the camera as he worked there. He was then offered a television performance, and was in several shows on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. An actor with natural talent, he was quickly a hit on TV. His comedic performances made him famous and he began a career as a filmmaker who had high hopes. The actor gained further recognition by playing the titular Batman as Tim Burton's Batman. With time he matured as an actor, and ventured into production and direction. In 2014, his performance as Birdman was rewarded with numerous accolades and nods.
